Week One: Initial poster designs

One of our homework tasks this week was to create 5 poster concepts for our topic. For this we first did a quick brainstorm into some ideas of what we could do for these posters, and things that relate to the topic...



We then brainstormed some taglines and research some existing beach relate puns for some inspiration...



From here we then chose 5 ideas and began to sketch them out in thumbnail form...



To then digitally render them...

This advanced us in our project by launching us straight into the design process, where we are already generating ideas, themes and thought processes, that may not be anything to do with our final ones, however it will give us something to branch off or refine, develop or refer to if we get stuck for ideas in the later stages of the design process.
