We brainstormed ideas for our open format that linked predominantly linked into the whole food theme, where we liked the idea of designing a food truck to be there on the day of the event to provide food.
For our flyer, we didn't want to go with the typical checklist, instead we thought that it would be more fitting if we made an information page on the types of rubbish that the audience could find at the beach clean up and what effects they have on the animals and ultimately on humans too. Another thing we thought about was having a rip off section at the end that you get signed off once you have filled a bag of rubbish which acts as a voucher for a meal from the food truck.
For the website we don't have an exact idea of set out and function at the moment, so we haven't begun to wireframe it just yet. We more so just sketched out some ideas that we could include in the website. I think from here it would be better to jump into invision and have a play around and see what we can do before we plan out our website through wireframing.
This brainstorming and thumbnail process advanced us in our project by enabling us to jot down all our ideas, where we could then branch off those ideas to create better ones. Brainstorming for all three elements at the same sitting was also beneficial because it made it easier to create a cohesive idea, where they all work together and play off one another rather than acting as very singular elements of the same project.
