Week Six: Responding to critique

In today's class we gained feedback on elements of our project. We found that the changes where quite minor, and that we get them done easily before presentation. This is good for us, as we can gain some final feedback tomorrow, and then we will be ready to print.

We first made the alterations to the flyer.

We looked at trying different font weights, between roman and light, where we chose roman as we are working with a dark background, so a light weight would merge with the background when printed.

We used a chalk brush to create the linking lines

along with the images

Below is are the developed spreads for the flyer.

The food truck:

We took out the brand logos on the rubbish species

The website:

We started working in invision with our Adobe photoshop files.

We have created a hover aspect to our menu page, where if you hover over the plastic species they turn into the real sea creature. This aspect is to create this idea that through the action of coming to the beach clean up or even making the effort to coming to the site shows that you are already making a positive effect toward this issue.

We cut out images of sea life to be our hovers, where we created pngs in Adobe photoshop and placed them over our original menu page to make sure that they were in the perfect position.

Here is a live example of where we have made the hover in invision, so when you over the rubbish plapper, you get the real snapper.

On our create an event page we created we created an area for downloads on the create an event page for each of our elements.

we then created hotspot around the pop-up box so that you could click anywhere around it to go back to the original page.
